life is right in any case

have you ever been going down one path and realize it's a completely different path than you thought? that was my summer. I was in the midst of job hunting, in my head planning to move back to Buffalo at the end of the summer. Life will change dramatically. and then. nothing happened, no jobs, no moving, it was clear that I needed to stay in Houghton. but why? why should i stay in Houghton where i'm poor and lonely and have trouble making friends my age? well clearly God knew that things would be different this year. one of my best friends just got a job here so her and her husband are moving here, there are more people on staff my age and I already feel more connected. After training with my welcome center workers I was filled with excitement to watch them grow and add to their professional careers over this year. I already love them and I feel like I am able to make changes and make things better within my job and how the college (at least my part of it) works. God works in mysterious ways.


so 2011-12 school year... i'm ready!

also, i'm sitting on an exercise ball at my desk and i crossed my legs and completely fell over! hahaha currently still laughing at myself. my cat just sits there glaring at me for waking her up!

I haven't really blogged in awhile, well at least this blog, my personal life. but I do have a blog post that is more on a serious and happy note that i just keep saving but haven't published yet. I'm sure I will soon. it's one of those things that so much good stuff happening that I want to share it all and want to do it thoroughly :)
