we're still having fun

I found this project that I really want to do. It's called the Sketchbook Project. Basically you register and they send you a moleskin sketchbook that has a bar code in it. you are also given a theme (or you can choose from a list when you register). after you have completed your sketchbook using your theme, you send it back to them and next spring all the sketchbooks go on tour all over the country so people can see your sketchbook. when the tour is complete it is cataloged in the Brooklyn Art Library!

Since moving into my own place I have become extremely decor driven. I just can't wait to paint and decorate. I've found myself looking at so many design websites. One of them being Design Sponge. I especially like their before and after section where people transform old furniture and rooms. I have a lot of furniture that I would like to paint and recreate.

I'm going to be painting my living room a deep teal color and i'm going to make pillows for my couch.... here are some inspirational fabrics i found:

needless to say, my living room will look awesome.

I also have a ton of frames and I think I will either paint them all white or do shades of yellow and use them on my wall like the picture below...
